La Jolla Art Gallery Event

Artist Opening Reception – Saturday, November 16th, 2013 from 6 until 9 pm
Michael Nisperos paints a passionate play between relics and symbols of the past and the bold movement of modern life. Although he is fascinated and influenced by primitive artifacts, his paintings are highly attuned to contemporary culture. He is an abstract and figural expressionist. His work is characterized by a dimension of texture, achieved by unveiling layers of paint with his palette knife as if revealing the work’s core essence. His multifaceted works have been called “Sculptures Of Canvas”.
