With respect to the engine mechanisms, initially, we’ll see two V-8 engines in the U.S. The current 5.0-liter V-8 will carry over with some minor updates, making 375 hp in standard guise and 510 hp when super charged. An eight-speed ZF automatic transmission is standard regardless of engine. Another exciting change is the improved air suspension which makes the driver confidence in handling much greater and more comfortable. This machine is still impeccably designed for off-roading; with the new Terrain Response 2 Auto system, we’re pretty sure drivers will barely have to flip a switch to match any terrain mode they desire.

The dashboard is a simple design keeping visibility and functionality of utmost importance. This minimalistic look and feel actually adds to the copious feel of the interior which matches the spacious leg room which has been increased by 4.7 inches. So with all the current changes and improvements we give two thumbs up to the latest re-design, and think Land Rover is well on their way to creating some of the best future luxury motors in the SUV world.
