The V-12 sits behind the front axle and 1.2 inches lower than its predecessor which helps to lower the F12’s center of gravity by 1.0 inch, you notice the difference at top speeds. The car also weighs 154 pounds less, thanks in part to a beautiful aluminum chassis that forms the gorgeous proportions. The F12 is smaller than the 599 in every exterior dimension, but as a large number of customers will drive this car daily and for higher average distances, Ferrari took extra care to keep its interior space similar.

The engine simply roars…The main battery is a direct injected and over square 6.3-liter V-12 with a 13.5:1 compression ratio. Peak torque doesn’t arrive until 6000 rpm, but rolling onto the throttle in any gear at in any rpm produces immediate acceleration. When driving you notice the responsive timing of every mechanism of this well built machine. It has a full aluminum structure and front engine lay out, which makes for a usable and comfortable supercar. It still manages to push all the supercar buttons, it’s breathtakingly fast,  smooth as it corners like it’s on rails, and  roars like the most fierce of engines in the exotic car family. With the Lamborghini Aventador already on the market and selling relatively well, Ferrari took to the drawing board and came up with a machine that it planned to have the power and speed of the Lambo, but with the Ferrari comfort and style that its customers insisted on. With 750 horsepower…The intake growl is pure music to your ears. With zero to sixty in 3.1 second…and unbelievable zero to 100 mph in 7.1 seconds. It fly’s the quarter mile in just 11.1 seconds. Its top speed is 211 mph at over 8000 rpms, and redlines in 7^th gear. Simply perfection!
